We’d like to see more musicians join the ensemble.
In their first rehearsal in several years, the NHBCOS Intermediate Band had a good turnout at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Wednesday night. Conductor Alex Marquez did a wonderful job leading the seven members who participated in the rehearsal. Within the first hour, after a good balance of instruction on breathing, dynamics, and rhythm, with a little dose of music theory and fun facts, everyone felt welcome, comfortable, and ready to have 12-weeks of fun.
Help us spread the word. If you have thought about starting up again with your instrument or know of friends or family who may be interested this is a perfect time to get started again. It is not too late to register. Rehearsals are from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Wednesdays.
